We received our excavation permit in April 2001. The heavy equipment came in and moved many rocks and used a single tooth shovel to split out the rock for the building site/ All together 50 truck load of material were removed. The excavators found the rock to be reasonably soft - so splitting and removing it was easier than expected. Never the less it was a big job.
